I give all my bikes names to keep them straight in conversation. It's too confusing to say "My 250."

Green Bike

Yellow Bike & Black Bike

Red Bike

Parts Bike

I wanted to name mine Yvette so that it would rhyme, and it reminded me of a hot french maid in an old movie (with the classic attire

). But of course, my girlfriend decided that made me a pig, so I went with Stella. Not sure why actually... (I still call her Yvette the Ninjette when we're alone together)

There's got to be other folks out there that have names for their bikes. What are the names and details??

Heck, if mine were green, I'd name it "Link" (huge Nintendo fan here)... as it stands, I sometimes call it "Blue Falcon" (Captain Falcon's racing hovercraft in Nintendo's F-Zero game series), hence the Captain Falcon avatar (done in Viewtiful Joe style).

Hmmm... now that I think about it, there *are* different colored Yoshis! The blue one could even fly.

mine is two face why? because I got into an accident and when I took off the bad fairings to fix it.. At the moment it looked like two face from batman one side is good and the other side is damaged… since then I called it 2 FACE… its back running

I've dubbed my Ninja, Shinobi (shin-oh-bee). My hairdresser's hubby is from Japan and said that it means stealth, ninja-like (or something to that affect) So I went with it.

"Love" for the obvious reasons. But the less obvious is that I recently came out of a ten year relationship so...Now that I am single, she is now the primary receiver of my affections.

My bike is named Aria, after an anime character. She is.... uhh.... a bit slow. (You have to watch the series to understand.... it's kind of adorable.) However, she's really peppy in her own way and she can really sing.

She also typically wears blue.

As soon as she gets delivered (Wednesday!) my shiny yellow pre-gen will be called 'Madeline,' in reference to the children's book as well as a song about a bicycle named Madeline by a group called The Decemberists. I think it fits pretty well.

I just bought my bike last week and it was wrecked, i wasnt sure at first if i could rebuild it or not

but since ive gotten into this forum ive gotten some parts and talked to a few people and i thinks she'll be ok. So i think ill call her "Lucky"

I wanted to get some vanity plates for my bike :P I originally wanted a green 08 250r. But searching used is kinda like begging and beggars cant be choosers

Anyway... since i wanted a green bike i wanted to name it Zoe. Why? I just plain like the name, and also zoe is the greek god of life. green... life .... cheesy... indeed.

So now that i have a black bike I'm still contemplating on what to name it. so ill back when i figure it out.

mine does that i only just recently figured out what it was. I was sitting in my garage and it made the noise. it scared the hell out of me. I have a video of it some where.

I haven't come up with a name yet... My dad served in WW2 and back in the day all the planes had names, His was "Miss Most" and had a picture of Jane Russle on the nose from the movie "outlaw", I have gotten bomber girl graphics from Lethal Threat and put them on but have yet to name her, I have thought about "The Outlaw" in hommage to my dad but nothing has stuck yet. The other option is "Blue Berry" my son called it that

I still haven't had mine named yet. I wanted to call it something vampyre related 'cause of my avatar and the fact I have a red Ninjette (the fastest color. Yes, red is fastest. I'm sure Hawking could come up with some speed/colorimetric algorithm that will PROVE that red is fastest, or maybe ask Dr. Sheldon Cooper from Big Bang Theory), but the only thing my friends have said is, "Nice!". Not a vampyric name, but I'm still open to suggestions!

I named her Lila, after the name of this hot chick on a show that I was watching (that was only the girls name in the show). But seeing as how seeing as how my bike is lime green. Lila for some reasons just sounds exotic and green.

To the right is Jenna, yes I named her after a porn star did you see her, thats what she is. On the left is Matilda. Why because my wife says she is like the red headed step child that I beat on.
