I flew yesterday
Redbull doesn't give you wings, a highside gives you wings .
Was just having a fun day with friends riding around some back roads at around 60, came up a hill that then quickly leveled off into a blind decreasing turn. I tried getting on the brakes but the rear locked up almost instantly and went sideways, slid off the road and hit a small water ditch which caused me to highside when the bike caught it and ejected me. Flew probably a good 6-10ft and then rolled with it. Im perfectly fine and the bike just needed some stitches on its right fairing. Was wearing my helmet, jacket, and gloves. Helmet has two nice scratches over right eye area and the jacket saved me from any serious torso injury or rash. Just have slight rash on my hip and elbow from the impact. Dying to get back out riding, just waiting on a new peg mount. Wear your gear and always do a scouting lap of your route if its unfamiliar. Live and learn

Heh no, I had DC shoes and shorts on my lower. /fail
Luckily my airborne trajectory and roll didnt offer my lower body a chance to get beat on.

yikes! thats not much better than the mankini... if you plan on riding like that you should wear some real foot protection at least. good leg protection is hiiiighly recommended if you like walking. do you own real boots? over the ankle protection will keep you from losing a foot
