You're a troll. Every time I post something you have something negative to say about it, can you just leave me alone and stop ruining all the threads I start?

If you think about it no, it wouldn't be. Because then every ones opinions would be spread all over and it would be disorganized. I thought about it.

Thats why you make one thread and people can use the name of the bike to express their view. I think everyone would understand fine.

Folks - please take it down a notch. Nothing wrong with the thread topic here as far as I can tell (other than the fact that KLR's continue to be uglier than sin). If it's uninteresting to you, just don't comment on it; simple as that.

I would love to own one of those. I been wanting one for more than a year. Thebonly think I hate is the freaking headlight or front upper fairing, same thing I hate from the 250.

Yet another good value from Kawasaki, but looks like it is mechanically identical to previous years. The new black rims look nicer, especially with the blacked out look (triple, forks, swing arm, exhaust and heat shield all blacked out.) But these are only minor cosmetic changes. Which is a bit like putting lipstick on a frog. The thing still looks like the love child of a frog and a mule.
But it is a good thing they aren't changing it. The KLR has got to be one of the most practical bikes ever made, and what you are buying is super reliable bike, a huge parts market with availability all over the world, a bike that is easy to work on, inexpensive and durable. If you break down in Bolivia, you can find parts for the KLR, and if you can't there is a DIY somewhere that will tell you how to fix it with a soda can, a wire hanger and chewing gum. So the fewer technical changes year on year is a good thing. I'm very happy, for example, they didn't go to fuel injection on it, kept the same bullet-proof single cylinder, etc. Yay for being able to use the same parts bins and disaster DIY threads. All that said, the whole purpose of KLR is pragmatism over looks, so why would you buy the new look 2012 over a mechanically identical 2011 or 2010? Given lack of substantive differences, I'd go with good deals on previous models and save a couple grand for the same bike.
