Opinions on the 2012 V-Strom

I've been reading around and looking at the 2012 V-Strom 650.

Opinions?

You'd want to be tall...

V-strom is pretty much an SV set up for off road, keep it's oil changes regular and it should go forever... neglect it & well at least the V twin lump makes for a nice coffee table base

I'm not very tall.

I can flatfoot a 32'' seat hight bike, though I'm not sure how the handlebars will feel. I'm going to take a trip to a dealership to sit on one. I'd love to test ride one though.
