NGK CR8EIX spark plugs. Do they come pre-gapped?
I read that they come pre-gapped and you can just stick them in.
Is that true? Just wanted to check with you guys first. |

I always check the gap. The last set of spark plugs I changed on a motor, they came from 2 different boxes (6 cyl engine and box has 4 plugs) and the different boxes had a different gap.

The last 4 I bought came pre-gapped within the required Kawi specs. I checked them to make sure. The tips are thin and i didn't want to take the chance trying to gap them.

Have only purchased 2 CR8EIX so far and on checking the gap I found them to be spot on.

The ones I bought here in Canada were pre-gapped in MM. You will need to covert the ones you buy in the states to inches.

Also make sure you have 1 left and 1 right spark plug.
The Canadian ones are reversed threaded....

I just pulled mine out to inspect them, they still look good 5,XXX miles later..
