I think that might be normal - some of the oil may have gone into the airbox via the overfill tube. I remember something about excess oil going to airbox?

I could be wrong, though.

Could be a mix of both....gas from the carb bowls evacuating to the filter box, and the original motor oil /crankcase vent coating on the air filter.

You can clean the air filter, re-oil it and reinstall it.

Clean the foam in a bath of high-flash point solvent,
and then dry it with compressed air or by shaking it.
After cleaning, saturate a clean, lint-free towel with SE,
SF, or SG class SAE 30 oil and apply the oil to the foam insert
by tapping the foam outside with the towel.
Visually check the foam for tears or breaks.
If the foam has any tears or breaks, replace the foam

You OK? Bike OK? Didn't expect the whole movie.
Do you know what happened? What made you slide out?
The bike on it's side skidding like that probably put the gas and oil into the airbox. It'll probably be fine when it's upright again and you clean it out.

Yeah were both ok, chiropractor fixed me up and i needed a new handlebar and rearset to get back out. I wasnt over the tank enough so i scrapped the rearset and lost the back end.

08 ninja, beautiful crash, if one could call it that.

Glad you're OK, and the ninja is still functional, although a little banged up. Such is the track, eh?

I agree with the others, as the ninja spent some time on it's side, the oil from the crank case vent leaked into the airbox, and the gas back-flowed from the carbs. Looks like those frame sliders did a great job until you hit the dirt....

Broken windshield? What else are you going to have to replace on the bike to make it track worthy again? Is this also your street bike? Did you remove the feelers?

Looking solid out there!
