New rider with old bike in Sacramento, CA

I'm 39, figured it was time to learn to ride. (Rode dirt bikes a little when I was 12 but that's about it). My mom had a beat up and neglected 1992 250 in her garage. I offered to get it running again for her, if I could use it to learn.

My plan was to get comfortable and confident, then buy a bigger sportbike...but I've actually been falling in love with this little thing. I just might end up getting my own ninjette.

I highly recommend you take the MSF course and always ride ATGATT.

MSF course is scheduled for next weekend. Just learned the hard way about the importance of gloves last weekend. If only the course had an opening sooner!

Where in Sacramento are you at? If you see a blue 2010 Ninja 250 driving around slower than traffic it's probably me being too scared to speed up lol
