Weird noise while driving

HI,

I'm not sure how to describe this but hopefully someone can help.

I picked up a 2009 Ninja 250 and had the inspection done. It turned out great.

The other night when I was driving, it started making weird noising. Something like a little high pitched farting noise.

Don't know what it is. Also there is a noise coming from it when I walk with it...

Anyone experience this?

Are you putting beans in the tank? Sounds like your chain might be to tight.

The clutch lever itself rattles on some ninjettes. If the noise goes away when you hold the clutch lever (whether or not you're pulling it in), you've identified it.

Were you riding anyone? Did you leave her on the bike?

ok, I went for a drive and the sound doesn't go away when I hold the clutch in.

It sounds like metal to metal. Like the brakes are on or something like that. No, I am not on the brakes.

thanks for the help trying to figure this one out.

can you replicate the noise in the garage while in neutral? Is it engine or speed dependent?

This is hysterical. I've seen this question posted every month for 2 years since the redesign in '08. Why hasn't Kawasaki widened the vent hole in the gas cap yet? I'm starting to feel like Bill Murry in Groundhog Day.
