Thanks Evan!

A total of $400 shipped sounds good to me. Count me in for this please, I would like the RX-2

So let's see, the list is currently at:

1) merc
2) Ausio
3) NevadaWolf
4) dandj86
5) Red250R
6) SSG54

(based on the recent rounds of "I'm in" comments)

@JanqeD did you decide if you could get it between moving countries?

Group buy purchase is live!

OK guys! We're ready to rock and roll! The order page is live. Go here:

http://racetechelectric.com/i-937735...voltmeter.html

To place your order. Make sure you make all of the selections in the 'Customize Your Item' box, before you Add to Cart. This makes sure I know who you are on the forum, your starting mile/KM for the odometer if you want it preprogrammed, and what type of kit you need.

If you have any questions, please let me know. Once you add to cart, you check out easily using our store. You can pay with any major credit card, or PayPal easily. I will leave the order page up until everyone has paid. I will let you all know as soon as everybody has paid, and then I will let you know the parts are being ordered. Let's all try and get the payments completed within 1 week so we can get the ball rolling quickly.

Thanks for your participation guys!

Sweet! I did mine.

Thanks for the awesome deal Jordan, you rock

Quick question: what is the difference between the FI and the carbed one? Are they interchangable? Like if down the road I went with FI.

I have kinda the same question but not really. I thought you said in the first page of this thread that these gauges didn't have the light for the FI?

i am wondering that too, i went with the carb one since the bike is a carb and from my understanding it is a conversion kit, so it will come with the part to convert to FI, if I am wrong then I would need to change my order to the FI one, cause i want to do the conversion.

Bump. I don't want to be the reason as to why this is being held up. I didn't complete my order yet cuz I'm waiting for a response from @RaceTech Electric. If no answer by tomorrow morning when I get home from work ill just select my order for the FI one and see what happens.

It's a fair question so I wouldn't stress over wondering what the difference is.

Though I do wonder if the zombie apocalypse has happened in San Diego, and Zombie Evan is wanting brains for payment?

Hey guys,
I'm here, sorry for some reason I'm not getting notification emails from this forum. I get them when somebody mentions my name, it sends me an update saying that I was mentioned in this thread. But I stopped getting the regular post notification emails I was getting before. I just assumed nobody had posted anything, until I saw somebody mentioned me. Sorry for being out of touch. I'll just try to check in everyday here no matter what to keep you guys updated.

OK to clear the air on the FI/Carb question.

Most (99%) of US market Ninja250's are carbureted, its how they were sold here. (Except for the brand new models). Most of you will select Carb version so it plugs into your harness directly.

The FI option is NOT a conversion kit of any sort. Koso is a worldwide company and markets these all over the planet. Many other markets got the Ninja 250 in different model names that was fuel injected. That's what this is for.

I really just added it as an option to be thorough, in case somebody involved had a FI bike from a different market. Please don't order the FI version if your bike is carb'ed, it will not plug into your harness!

I hope I cleared this up. If your bike was not original from the factory fuel injected, make sure you order the CARB kit.

Let me know if you guys have any questions.

I'm not a zombie anymore I swear! No brains for me. Although I am kind of hungry....and we did just have a zombie apocalypse start here...

I'm just a really busy guy running a small business and trying to hookup other riders with good deals, stuff that I'd want to buy.

Thanks @RaceTech Electric for the awesome deal and response. Just placed my order. Set the odometer with an extra 250 miles so by the time it gets here i wont go over probably. Even if i have to ride around for a bit after i get it before i can install it that'll work.

Hey guys! Sorry for holding all of you up!

I've run into what I think is a little problem with the online checkout, I've selected "International Shipping" and it has added $60 to the total however it is also trying to add another $45 to the total when I go to checkout.

Evan previously advised me that shipping should be $60 which is why I think there might be a problem. I've shot him off an email but might not get a reply today, as I believe it is night time over there.

In any case, my apologies for the delay and hopefully we can get this sorted out soon!

Just got your email, replying to you now. I'm fixing the bug, so it will ship for $60 and not calculate the additional $45 that it's doing. Redo the payment and we'll be ready to rock.

Howdy howdy @RaceTech Electric. All good and ordered and waiting?

Just curious, you mentioned 15 days for the custom odometer gauges, was the 15 calendar days or business days? That was the 15th, so I was thinking end of the month, but now thinking that might be more the first week of June.

Hey all,

If you are like me and running low on your odometer buffer (I'll destroy mine on the track this weekend) I found the original "fan mode" from the first group buy.

Details:
1. Put magnets on a fan instead.
2. Set up pickup in front of fan as if it were a wheel.
3. Power gauge from an automotive battery or DC 12v source.
4. Set gauge to expect one magnet per wheel revolution with the largest selectable tire size but use all six magnets so that it considers one revolution of the fan to be six of a large tire.
5. Run fan overnight at max speed.
6. Come back and curse when you realize that your fan has racked up 3x as many miles as you've actually ridden and you need to keep running it until it turns over at the maximum mileage.
7. Rinse and repeat.

And what good are instructions without pictures?
