idle @ 7k when choke is on - Fixed

So i did a full tear down, clean and inspection of the carbs. I still have the same problem. When my choke is wide open the bike revs to 7k. If i reduce the choke the engines stalls.

Once warm it idles at 1500

Any ideas why the rpm is so high?

Can you just back it down enough to get the RPMs about 2500?

It's an enrichener, so raising the RPMs is common.

Once it starts I always set it so it will keep running at a moderate RPM, usually in the 2500 range, until I get my gear on and take off. At that point it will usually idle (barely) with the choke off.

in my case i noticed that the right butterfly was opened more than the left one, so i bench sync the carbs and that fixed it
