Newgen 08-12 Front Captive Wheel Spacers

First off, im not a commercial enterprise I just happened to design and have a batch of these made by a machine shop to help reduce the costs and help other racers.

Included in the set for $60 shipped USPS is right and left side "captive" front wheel spacers for the 08-12 Ninjette. Right side is a traditional captive spacer with lip that is retained by the existing dust seal. Left speedo side uses two small neodymium magnets to retain the spacer to the steel inner bearing race. Its strong enough to hold the spacer in place to ease front wheel installation. Both are made of 6061 aluminum and CNC machined.

I sold a few of these on ebay for $75/set and a couple trackside for varying prices. I think the $60 price is fair, but if price is holding you back PM me an offer.

I have a 300 in my garage now, so I tested these to see how they fit.

looking at the parts fiche on the 300 both the left and right use the same part number, 92143-1187. Sure enough if i use two of the right spacers I had made for the 250 they work perfect on the 300.

I only have two sets left for the 250, if there is enough interest ill have more made and have some 300 sets made at the same time.

Im working on something for the rear, however to do it right it will require removal/replacement of the bearings so im not sure its something people other than me will be interested in doing.

I have only one, maybe 2 sets available now. I will check and confirm. Since it seems like there is interest Ill have another batch made - they should be done in less than 2 weeks.

Quite a bit of the cost is in the drilling, epoxying, and the magnets themselves on the speedo drive side. Is the magnet a feature that adds value or should it be removed?

What would cost difference be without drilling & magnets?

I'm also interested and I don't think the added cost of the magnets does much for the overall value.

I'd be interested in 2 right sides for a Ninja 300 front if you are having some made.

Any idea if you will have Rear's made too (for 300)?

thanks!

Alright folks I did not have these made last month. Ive spoken to the machine shop and sent in a work order this morning.

New pricing:

$60 NewGen. set with magnets shipped
$50 NewGen set w/o magnets shipped
$30 Newgen speedo side spacer only no magnets shipped
$45 300 set shipped

Ill make you a deal if you buy multiples. My paypal address is my username @gmail. If anyone has any specific questions ill be glad to help where I can.

I havent seen enough interest to develop the rear spacers for the 250 or 300 yet, maybe that will change.

Installed the front spacers on the 300 this morning at the track, nice fit and easy on.

Doesn't look like Chris has been back here since March 2019, he probably won't get this message.
