Oil Leak, I think I found it but just needing some advice

I have an oil leak. I found the leak, I think. I think I also know what part to replace, but I'd like some advice just to be sure. I think the part needed is 11009-1873 from this diagram

http://www.ronayers.com/Fiche/TypeID...e_Cover%28s%29

Where the leak is, is on the Left side (Chain side) and is circled in red.

Also is this as simple as unbolting the left side (about 8 bolts) then rebolting it back on?

Thank You

have you tried just snugging up those bolts to see if that will stop the leak? not too tight... just enough to know that they are not loose.

spray down that area with some engine degreaser and rinse off. that way if it continues to leak, you'll see fresh evidence that it's still leaking.

sorry, haven't had that cover off so I can't help you there.

You will have to drain your oil prior to changing that gasket. Might want to pick up a crush washer for the oil drain plug while your at it.
