Help! Need RossoII tire pressure
I'm at the track and planning to ride tomorrow, but I don't have any idea where to start on tire pressure. I have a 110 SC1 on the front and just replaced the 120 SC2 on the back with a 140 RossoII. Any help with cold pressures (and hot for future use) would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance. -Sean |

I have been running 28-29psi HOT in the rear. it slides predictably and has the bike feeling pretty stable. When not using the warmers, I set them at 25-26psi COLD. although I am just your average track day junkie...not an expert or anything. so take it how you will

26-27 Psi Cold.... Monitor your track ambinent temperatures and "hot" tire wear. Hot Psi may need to go up by 1-2 psi based on tears.
Feedback from riding at Laguna, Infineon, Thunderhill (Thill being hottest)

Sean, start with 28 front and 26 rear cold. I'm assuming you're up north in Washington and either riding at Seattle or the Ridge which is a little cool at that moment. As Abhijit mentions, if you see tearing on the rear tire, bump it up a pound and check again.
Have fun where ever you are, both are fun tracks! |

I don't know how much you weigh, but I tend to run a psi or two lower than what these guys are saying, just check the tire wear after a few sessions and get them where you feel good. But yes, 28 psi front 26 rear cold is a good place to start.
