Where is everyone at so we can get an idea of a centralized location to meet up at.

Friday ill be around just text me.

Sunday lets shoot for 3 or 4ish? I have some stuff to do in the morning.

Ill pm you all my number. I think it would be alot easier to coordinate by text plus it would be useful for those "spur of the moment" rides.

Ok, i generally consider this parking lot the starting point for the river run. It's a seven eleven and a bunch of other places. The address is:

1 South Pennsylvania Avenue
Morrisville, PA 19067

From here its a quick jump onto 32 to start the river run. The short run is until where 32 meets 611. There is a diner there that makes for a sweet rest stop.
Then its either take 611 home or hop back on 32 and go south (i usually do the latter for the short runs) the longer runs continue past the water gap and really chap the ass.

I avoid 'River Run' on Friday afternoon/evenings.. weekends are even worse, traffic on Rt. 32 gets pretty bad since it's mostly single lane. I usually do my 'River Runs' before 8 AM on weekends.

Monk, Will you have your bike with you? If so, it's about a half hour up 95. If you want to be down text me when you think the meetings over and ill meet up with you on your way up. Im like two minutes from the woodhaven entrance/exit to 95. Actually if you get off at woodhaven we can take rt1 up to morrisville.

An alternative could be to ride somewhere south of the city. Two of you guys are already down there and im not sure where Lansdale is.

Completely forgot about the traffic. It does get pretty bad. I have been riding it during the week for god knows how long.

Any suggestions?

Considering the weather I don't think I'll be riding this evening. I just got word that my gf will be going down the shore for the weekend so my Saturday and Sunday are now open. I plan to ride tomorrow, haven't decided where yet but if anyone wants to meet up just shoot me a time and place.

As for Sunday, it appears too many people live south so let's get something going south of the city. I ride till my ass falls off so distance doesnt mean anything for me. I am currently planning and saving up to ride cross country before I buy a new bike. I am already excited to say I did it on a 250. Not that that's relevant but I have some time to kill since I'm sitting on the john.

Probably a good call on this afternoon. It was a mess here for awhile. Not sure if we're getting more tonight.

Let me know what the Sunday plan is. I'll shoot to meet up if I can.

Cool

Philadelphia Riders are meeting in New Hope tomorrow morning to have breakfast and riding up north:

Hey everyone,

For the second Sunday ride this month, I built a new route that starts in New
Hope and heads up to Lake Wallenpaupack. The roads up near our destination are
a lot of fun. At the end of the route is a unique establishment called The
Hotel that has good food and beverage. I have a variation of the trip up ready
for our return.

I will be going to breakfast at Bitter Bobs at the beginning of the route.
Please feel free to join me if you would like at 9am, the link is below.
Remember that New Hope is known for its discrimination against motorcyclists so
plan accordingly... Do the speed limit. Park between the lines. Get your
paperwork up to date. And put your stock exhaust back on!

If you would like to eat at Honey's and still get in on this route, it is no
problem. Plan on leaving Honey's by 9:15 and getting to Bitter Bobs before
10am.

Bitter Bobs
110 South Main Street
New Hope, PA 18938
(215) 862-0262

The Hotel
931 Main Street
Newfoundland, PA 18445-5212
(570) 676-8646

To see the route, just click on the following:

D'oh!!! I'm heading out of town this weekend I'm only about 5 minutes from the Granite Run Mall.

What day / time are you planning on? I'll be in DC for the weekend, but coming home Sunday morning.

Any idea what time the demos finish on Sunday?

Ticket To Ride events allow you to experience the pure enjoyment that only a Kawasaki can provide. Sign up starts at 8 am and rides start at 9 am and end at 5pm. First come, first served. Rides are strictly available while supplies last. Online signup does not necessarily guarantee you a ride. Please arrive early.

hopefully spots would clear up during the afternoon :\

There are some nice roads down by you Ed. I went to school at UDel and I spent more than a couple afternoons blowing off steam by driving around on 896 and other back roads.

How did the Kawi demo thing go? Did you guys meet up?

Cool

I rode my Sherpa to pickup some free tires from another forum member this afternoon.. heat index 115 degrees.. Little Sherpa ran like a champ:

K of P Hooters had quite a turn out for the Bike Nite:

Even had not one, but two Ecomobiles showed up at the Bike Nite, along with my friend's BMW F800GS:

I guess they are on their way up to Bloomsberg, PA for the BMWMOA Rally this weekend.

Sherpa is a 250cc, I ride off-road on most two-wheel vehicle, even my 250 scooter:

There were good amount of sportbikes that showed at Hooters, I didn't take many pics of them, to me they all look similar..

Good number of cafe conversions though:

I used to go to the Abbey quite a bit, but these days I have school work during the week, Tuesdays are tough for me to get out there.

Some nice looking cafe racers and bobbers. Are those velomobiles or electric powered?

I'm too much of a wuss to ride with a heat index over 100
