Question about using MX gear

Would this be any good for street use?

Not sure if you already have the MX protector but if not this looks like it would work fairly well for roughly the same price. I haven't heard anything about it though in terms of reviews.

Definately better than no gear/protection at all. Depending on the other items worn it could be of benefit. It will obviously do nothing for abrasion protection and is not designed with the same type of use as a street based package. If you have it, sure wear it; if not I would consider other options.

think it will provide minimal protection on the street. Only thing i could see MX chest protector helping out with is a puncture maybe? or a maybe protecting ribs a bit. I don't think i would like riding with it as i would imagine that it would make it uncomfortable to tuck or lay more on the tank.

Better off with something designed for the street IMO
