Evolution of my 2005 Ninjette.
I started with a mostly stock 2005 Ninjette with about 1400 miles. It was used a range bike for an MSF course and I traded my first bike for it, a KLX250S.
Since getting it a few months ago I have done a few mods to include: -Ninja 650 clutch and brake levers -BT45 tires -Kerker 2-1 exhaust(Thanks for the good deal Royal!!!!!) -Factory Pro jet kit -110 main, stock pilot, needle clip 3rd slot..2.5 out on screws -Center stand delete(wouldnt clear Kerker mid pipe) -Fender mod/delete -Pod filter K+N R-0990 Now for the pictures!!! |

Planned work/mods
-New upper fairing(has some cracks) -Touch paint on swingarm -Cartridge emulators up front with springs -better shock/spring outback -Braided brake lines front and rear with better pads And nothing else really. Maybe clipon risers and rearset adjusters...but thats still a maybe. This thing is fun, even having owned: -07 GSXR 600 -99 TL1000R -Ninja 650R -KLX250S |

I changed to 112 main jets tonight. I will evaluate them tomorrow.
Im super paranoid because I pushed on the float when I was taking it apart..not really hard, but Im worried I may have adjusted it by mistake. I guess if it runs like crap I can always check the floats before changing anything again? |

I like the fueling in this configuration. I think I just need to take the the mixture screws from 2.5 turns out and make them 2.0 turns out. It runs smooth, pulls cleanly, and doesnt exhibit surging. I would say thats close enough for me. I just want to see if I can make the throttle response a little bit crisper with the screws.
