WTB - pre-gen shock

As title, in UK, need cheap rear shock urgent for pre-gen. Not fussy what it is, as long as it fits and is cheap !

I have no idea what shipping costs, but... $15 + shipping? The cheapest I see on eBay is $22.50 for a 1986. That's a different bike from the pregen/newgen but might be the same as the pregen shock. I was hoping to sell it with the swingarm but if you need it badly I may be able to help.

Hi, that's very kind, and a good price, but I need it quite urgently. I have found one here in the UK at a breakers, I'll ring them today and see if I can get it posted to me quick.

I guess "breakers" is the UK way to say "junk yard parts dealer."

Postscript to the tale, it turned up on the last day I could get a free re-test on my MoT, (UK road safety test for motor vehicles), at ten to five in the evening. I managed to change it in less than ten minutes ! Rode straight to the test station which was a mile from my house. Got there just as the guy was locking up, I thought he knocked off at 6, turns out it was 5.

Anyway, I ended up going to a different shop in the end, (small independent -should have gone there in the first place), and it passed.
