I think we'll have to credit that "save" to the obviously superior braking and handling characteristics you get when you fimly compress a video camera between the fairing and the front wheel fender.

The next logical step will be to construct a suspension setup entirely out of thin fiberglass and Hero HD cameras. That should work nicely.
