Sooo, 06 cbr1000rr

Very close to getting my new bike. Just have to find the time to go into the shop and do the paperwork. And the small issue of not being licenced to ride it home...

It is stock as stock gets. Needs new mirrors as the ones on it are sun damaged, and the clear screen is a bit clowdy. Other than that it is good to go!

I'll be keeping the 250, got the wife some gear rolled into the price of the new bike so she can start to learn to ride

40,000kms, so whats that, about 24,000miles or something?

I wasn't too concerned with getting something with super low kms, because I commute nearly 100kms every day, so I rack them up fast

Having said that, there was an 08 cbr600 in there with 15,000kms on it and a complete header back yoshi system on it (sounded reeeeeeealy nice), but it had been knocked over. Similar price to the 1000, was strongly considered haha

Yeah Aus has a 2 tier licence system. Must do 12months on a sub 660cc AND sub 150kw/tonne bike, then redo prac test on bigger bike to ride on your own.

So I have been riding this every day for about 7 weeks now. Stacks of fun

I rode the ninja to work one day when it was raining last week. As soon as I left the driveway I felt like something was wrong with the 250, like it was broken somehow, but no it is just slow
