Awesome. If I had known about that website, I would have also used some oem connectors.

Has anyone recently ordered the modulator from the original link Alex posted?

http://www.nocutmodulators.com

Just want to make sure they are up to date and still selling them.

I naturally pulse the brakes when stopping, mostly to warn people behind me. If I'm sitting at a light on a flat enough road I usually click my brake lever on and off.

Also does anyone have headlight modulators?

There was a recent "no-cut modulator" group buy/ride in Cali that was done in February. They ordered from that same site. I got mine from there as well, but that was almost a year ago.

The install is really easy. The hardest part is getting the seat back on.

I got mine into today, it literally took 2 seconds to install....putting on the seat WAS the hardest part. It seems to work awesome!

Great seller, quick shipping, excellent product!

Got mine a couple of weeks ago. Great mod, especially with a 2357LL tail-light. Works as advertised, fast shipping. Would buy again, if I had more than one tail-light.

If you can do any sort of wire splicing/soldering, then I HIGHLY recommend the 3rdbrakeflasher modulator.

Between the two, they both get the job done, though 3rdbrakeflasher allows you to set the flasher speed/count to your liking. I decided to purchase two considering the low sale price (one for myself, the other for my GF), and they both work perfectly.

As I said earlier:

I can send you mine if you would like...all you have to do is cover the shipping charges. PM me your address and I'll see how much it costs...then you can see whether it would be worth it (I'm located in Canada, so it MAY cost more than expected especially with Canada Post being on strike)

You could even Paypal me the money after you receive it

Why not just get the flasher unit from www.3rdbrakeflasher.com? Don't want to splice into the original wiring?

Ouch. That sucks. You could order oem type connectors from easternbeaver.com and wire it up. Only bad thing is the $20 minimum purchase. If there's enough interest, after I'm done with the group buy on the LED blinkers, I could make a P&P kit using the 3rdbrakeflasher.com kit.

Video is from the Socal group buy so all the ninjas here have them and you can see the flash rates. The Green ninja has a smoke lens so it's not normally that dark unless you also have a smoked lens.

Link to original page on YouTube.

i was looking into these. my friend has a honda they came with one. it's an LED taillight and it has 3 super fast flashes and then goes solid. super bright! think 3 flash bulbs going off in a row in less than half a second.

anything out there like this for the 250r?

Here is the OEM tail light connector on eBay for $4.08 shipped. I bought one and wired myself up a no-cut flasher with the programmable one from 3rdbrakeflasher.com

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...OU%3AUS%3A1123

(If the eBay link is dead by the time you read this, the sellers name is rnscooters and the auction is entitled "3 Pin Modular Connector / Scooter / ATV / Motorcycle.")

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I want to install a brake light flasher and was wondering if anyone knew of a good plug in one instead of a cut and solder one? My father has one that goes in between his brake light plug and it works awesome. No need to cut and splice. These links in this original thread are all dead now.

I don't know anything about this company but this one is a plug and play. Seems pretty good and very customizable.
