New here from Ireland! :)

Hey guys...... My name is Andrew and as above says...... Im from Ireland

So I recently bought this 2010 ninja 250r and I must say I am delighted with it! its my 1st Road bike so I decided to go and get a relatively new one! I don't have much experience on bikes apart from the odd blast on a dirt bike and quad bikes! But I'm keen to learn!

So I picked up this bike and hope to do a few bits to it!
When I 1st got it, it had the standard exhaust on. Which was quickly replaced with a brand new musarri slip on! I must say it makes a huge difference!

Anyway here is the bike..... They are the only pics I have of it at the moment!

I plan to do do a few bits to it

1.name her (in time)
2.remove the rear 250r stickers...... I prefer the sleeker look!
3.rear fender eliminator
4.seat cowl
5.H.I.D lights
6.tinted windscreen (maybe a double bubble.... Im still not sure!)
7. Tinted headlight (maybe)
8.Flush and led indicators

Maybe more in time..... But that's all I have in mind for now!

Anyway let me know what ye think!
Thanks for reading!

Let's see if I can screw this up...

Fáilte Andrew!

Sorry, been listening to a lot of Gaeilge covers lately, so wanted to try.

Whoo hoo!

I see you have a tire hugger on yours. I think those make the bike look more complete, dunno why just do. Love how it seems to match the rest of the bike.

Yeah I do! came on the bike when I bought it! I tjink it makes the bike a lot sleeker looking? I dunno if that makes sense or not to you? Haha! I think the fender eliminator will be next on the list though!

Yep makes sense.

I'm still unsure about a fender eliminator as I use it to support the straps on my tail bag. But the previous owner took a hacksaw to the "bee stinger" so I have a bob tail bike.

The eliminator kits look clean, especially if combined with an undertail like Hotbodies has with the LED lights built in. Then you just need to figure a place to install the plate and light it up.

That's kinda what I had in mind..... Cutting it. But id be afraid it would end up looking tacky or something? I saw the R&G one alright.... And it looks pretty decent! So I might splash out and buy that!

I don't need to carry anything really with me and if I do I'll just use a backpack or my car! seems easier to me! as for those hotbodies undertails...... I think they are very expensive for what they are..... Maybe in time if I've extra cash lying about ill get one

Yeah I'm the wacky one AFAIK carrying around all the gear for a full on repair, but I ride in the middle of nowhere so I go more remote than most folk.

Suppose the nice thing about cutting it is if you don't like how it looks afterward, you can also go for one of the kits. Having to wait sux, but there are several on the slow boat from China if so inclined.

And yep, fully agreed on the cost of the Hotbodies.

Erin go bragh!

The Zero Gravity Double Bubble was awesome on the 250 i had, i'm getting one for the 300 today.

I cut the fender on the 250 too, i have pics i'll look for to show you. The trick is to use a tiny cutting wheel, like on a Dremel, and then a small torch or heat gun to slightly melt the edges so they don't look fresh cut.

*goes of to look for pics...*
