Thank You All

Wanted to say THANK YOU to all the posts and people that came before me, as well as the people that answered the questions I posted. I've learned so much this year.

I did myself a disservice in that I was a long time commuter that would just go to the mechanic for all servicing or if something went wrong with my bike. Servicing my bike is so much fun. I've saved so much money and reinvigorated my interest in today. Never thought in my early 30s I'd be exploring hobby mechanicing.

So in short, thanks fam.

fun, positive and rewarding, though a lifetime addicting hobby this motorcycle/mechanical stuff is!

at 67 I'm still doing bikes, carbs, even minor auto work. Neighbors pound me with non running weedwackers, lawnmowers, blowers, generators, chainsaws, motorized skateboards (mo-boards?), bicycles even. Oh, yeah, you wanna be my neighbor for sure...just bring it to Mr Fixit. No problem, i always accept.

A constant, stimulating learning process as well...always being confronted with challenges new and different.
Brought both of these back from the dead for neighborhood teens to have boyfriend/girlfriend gopeds on the block.
Out and out fun...fixing and seeing the kids on them!

It's good to see kids get into working on bikes.

j/k

and the sad fact is you're probably already better than most dealer mechanics.

Is it possible to do an engine swap on the gopeds to an EX500 engine?
