You would re-use your current nuts and bolts.

That's the Master Link for the chain. There will either be a clip style (the odd tweezer looking thing) or a rivet style which requires a tool to rivert the ends of the links. The o-rings go on the posts of the master link on either side of the chain.
The nuts on the rear sprocket and nut on the front one are reused.

I don't know if endless chain can be used on Ninjette, but if yes, it might be a better option.

I've not bought a chain yet that hasn't included a means to attached the two ends. I've bought GYTR, Renthal, EK, Regina... Uh, and something else. I would be very surprised if a kit did not come with a master link.
Can't help you on the kit, sorry. I just buy my sprockets and chain separately as I need them or switch to higher or lower teeth.

The stock chain is riveted, and I've riveted all mine after discovering my clips kept vanishing. Is there a reason why it wouldn't be possible?

Someone asked if the kit came with a Rivet Link
and the answer was it comes with a clip on link. is that the same thing as a master link? is 100 dollars a fair price to pay for this? thanks |

All chains I have bought had both types. I would be surprised if all chains did not at least come with the clip type to connect the chain. Master link with clip (notice the groove at the end of the open posts, then is what the clip slides into) Master link that uses rivets (notice no groove) The ends of the posts are squished by the tool to prevent them from sliding back out from the chain. A nice comparison: Quote:
Someone else correct me if needed, please.

Go with a vortex kit. Their stuff is Usa made and legit (they use RK chains tho). Call them up. Say you race or something and they will throw you a discount. PM me if ya want a number of a guy I go through.
