online stores to buy tires

I am looking to replace both tires on my 2003. The tires that are on it are the stock Dunlop K630's. I am looking for suggestions on WHERE online to buy tires. I have seen many posts of people mentioning they "got both tires shipped for $100) or deals similar to that. I have narrowed it down to the Kenda K671's because I ride a combination of highway and backroad twisties. I am not riding on the track. I have been looking all over the place online and I can't find deals even close to that.
I would like to get the BT45's or the Diablo Sport Demons but they are out of my price range and I would prefer a tire that has a combination of performance, durability and something that is good in the rain because I do ride in the rain.

Hi John! I usually shop at Motorcycle-Superstore.com as they offer discounts on shipping and various stuff from time to time. I scored a set of Bt-45 for relatively cheap at chaparral-racing.com.

Welcome John.
You're probably not going to find any set of tires for under $100 shipped. Look to pay a little more than that, especially if you want to meet all of your parameters.

American Motorcycle Tire has a good selection of motorcycle tires for reasonable prices with free shipping. Remember this is the start of the riding season, so naturally the prices on every tire will be slightly up from non peak riding season. You may be able to catch a spring clearance sale on some other tires, however the tire sizes that fit your bike are very limited and in somewhat small demand.

Check out the link in my signature; it goes to a page here that lists most of the online vendors.

Hello John, $100 for a set of tires is pretty cheap. Luckily you have the pre-gen with 16" wheels.

From Motorcycle Superstore with free shipping,

Shinko 712 rear: 130/90-16 for $65.99

Shinko SR740F front: 100/80-16 for $45.99

I have the 712 rear on my '04 250 and it's a decent tire, don't know about the 740, but for $112 total I don't think you'll find a cheaper set of tires. Even the pirelli scooter tires come in at a higher price.

Not specifically PreGen experience, but you can also just try Googling the part number you're looking for. Check Amazon too, both direct and their third-party sellers. Personally, I've found most of the standard bike sites to be within a few bucks of each other on the same tire whenever I needed some. The best deal usually comes from whichever one happens to have a sale or coupon code at the time. JakeWilson has ended up being the overall cheapest for me a couple times now, though it was only a few bucks better than the next one.

I found a set of Kenda K671's 130/90-16 and 100/90-16 for $138.00 shipped on Ebay. I think I will just order them. I was thinking about the Bridgestones or the Pirelli's but they are too expensive. I am not really looking for the cheapest tires... tires are IMPORTANT.. but I want to get something good at the best price possible. The reviews on the Kenda's are good. Everybody seems to like them. Anything is better than 11 year old original Dunlop's!

I would buy those in a heart beat. The nice thing about moto tires is the relatively short life span. You buy a set you don't like you can always try something different in a few months.

I don't know about a few months. I'm still waiting for the IRCs on my 300 to be worn out enough to replace. Got almost 6k miles on em now.

You need to ride more. When I get kicked off I will be riding about 3,000/month. IOW, a daily driver.
