6EEE women's boots
Hey guys, I have a friend who's expressed some interest in riding but she's got a really unusual foot size -- 6EEE (US Women's) which is virtually impossible to find at all, nevermind in a bike boot.
Does anyone know of a boot manufacturer that might accomodate this size? |

"A friend" ey...
It's alright Yakaru, we won't judge you and your slabs of meat. From what i've read that's a US size 6 but very wide? Se could try mens sizes, they tend to run wider, she'll also have a better choice and they will be cheaper as a result. |

But yes that size is super wide; she's german in heritage and apparently this is an issue for all the women in her family. Edit: oh, and the issue with men's shoes is that they tend to not go small enough. In men's it's something like a 4 which is also very hard to find, esp. in a wide variety. |

So her feet are basically square? I don't know where she would be able to find a boot that wide in women's. Hell I have a hard time finding men's boots wide enough for my feet and I wear 12EE.
A size 6 women's US shoe is equivalent to size 4-4.5 US kid's shoe size as well as Men's. Like you said I'm sure it's tough finding something that small. If I were her I would start looking into getting something custom made. |

Try custom boots maybe (although that may get expensive, depending on budget)? The only company I can think of that might be able to do custom is Daytona (which happens to be a German company - everything is done by hand, like Held gloves), which has a dealer in Fremont, Ca. Here is all their information:

Hmm, custom boots sounds like a good idea, but expensive, i'd try boys boots, lots of kids do motorcross here and they seem to be easy enough to find, I wouldn't normally recomend anything other than a proper bike boot, but a hiking boots are better than trainers or slip ons any day, while not quite as good as bike boots.

My wife commented that your friend must be an amazing swimmer.
Some google searching comes up with companies that build custom boots, but they are more of the traditional "biker" style rather than more sportbike style. http://www.motorcowboy.com/c=qFvfRf9...orcycle_boots/ http://www.caboots.com/product/1XMXC...cle-Boots.html http://www.bakershoe.com/build-a-boot/

Yeah, I was afraid that custom would be the only option Since she's just dipping her toe in I was hoping to keep the budget low and I can't imagine custom work will make that easy. I'll investigate some of these options and see what I can do Thanks guys!

This is what your friend needs. Also, Alpinestars makes men's boots pretty small. Try a size 4. Edit : Euro size 37
