[American Motorcyclist Association] - Bell Helmets named Official Helmet for 2014 Roc

MORGANTOWN, W.Va.(July 18, 2014) - MX Sports announced today that Bell Helmets, an industryleader in innovative head protection, is the official helmet of the 2014 RockyMountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship presented byAMSOIL. Bell will be on-site throughout the July 27 - Aug. 2 NationalChampionship in Hurricane Mills, Tenn., showcasing and demonstrating theirnewly developed custom-fit program with the Bell Moto-9 helmet, in addition tosponsoring the Bell Helmet Holeshot Award at the 2014 National Championship.




Bell'scustom-fitting demonstrations allow riders to experience the company'sbreak-through head scanning system, which is a first of its kind for theindustry. Each Bell Moto-9 helmet is customized to the unique shape anddimensions of the rider's head and since the internal shape of the helmet is adirect offset of the rider's head; there are no uncomfortable pressure pointsor hot spots.



Inaddition to the custom-fit head scanning demonstrations, Bell is providingnearly $11,000 in holeshot awards to amateur racers throughout the week. TheBell Helmet Holeshot Award offers up a $100 gift certificate to BellHelmets.com to each rider who gets theholeshot in 108 gate drops taking place at the National Championship.

Bell willhave the custom-fit Sprinter Van set up in Sponsor Village all week long,inviting racers and their families to stop by and demo its innovative headscanning system and experience the comfort of the Moto-9 Carbon helmet firsthand.

Followingtheir first-ever custom-fit program at the 2013 World SuperBike Championship atLaguna Seca, Bell has since taken their custom-fit process on tour to eventsall across the country, including the Austin and Indy MotoGP events, as well asthe AIM Expo, IMS Shows and more.
