How long til I can get a used 2013 ZX6R

Think there will be many people selling their 2013 bikes this summer? I mean it just came out. I do live in an urban area. Slim chance I'm guessing eh

I would think more people would be trying to get rid of the 300 to "upgrade."

Slim chance indeed. But who knows, maybe someone buys it, realizes it's too much for them, and then decides to sell. But I'm guessing the price won't be that much lower than just buying a new one. Though less money is less money.

I think you'll see more wrecked ones than good condition. But it's been out for about half a year, right? I'm sure there will be some. But they'll be expensive. Buy during winter, sell during summer.

Honestly it wouldn't be that hard to find I think. The used dealership where I bought my bike gets super low, literally less than a 1000 miles, 600s all the time. Straight the owner says all the kids want the liter bikes because the 600s aren't cool. Also people like commuting on liter bikes. Kawi markets the new zx6 like its some torque monster. Somebody buys it and quickly realizes it doesn't have the power yesterday that modern 1000s have. Boom they post it on Craigslist.

I think it's more of a price point issue. I paid 4 grand for my 250. That's clean used 600 pricing. On the used market the super sports all really seem to hover the same depreciation point. Most street riders are posing and want to look cool on a hot bike. I'm cool with that. If I had 6 or 7 grand to spend on a bike I would cross shop between a 600 and a liter for sure. You aren't going to be using the thing to its capabilities on the street so get whatever moves your soul the most.

I'll sell you mine used.

$15,000 :>

Honestly though, it might be a while to see them used and non-damaged. I can't think of a 'good' reason to sell mine for any other motorcycle (maybe a 300r).

I think you'll have to wait till some rich uber squid decides the 636 isn't enough power and splurges on a liter bike.

I thought of trading my 10r in for a new 636 just for insurance. Then I thought about a 300 plus a new metro cos it looked fun. Well, then I rode my bike home and said ummm ...hell no.
It'll be a while.

Not for a while. The 6r is one hell of a super sport. The only luck you might have of getting one with no drops would be someone wanting to "downgrade" to a 300. But I think this is stated above.

You can get the best year for a Kawi, the '06 636, right now. Cheap too.

This.

2006

2013

I'll take the 06 please. Is a used 2013 really $7000+ dollars better? I highly doubt it. Call me crazy but I actually like the looks of the 06 more. Maybe it's just because it is actually affordable for me. Idk. Just look for a used 05-06 636.
