[visordown.com] - Video: Ducati Superleggera teaser
DUCATI has released a teaser video for the Panigale R Superleggera, revealed by Visordown last week. The Superleggera (meaning superlight in Italian), is an invite-only lightweight version of the already extreme 1199 Panigale R, with rumoured specifications of 220bhp and 180kg wet, and an anticipated £60,000 price tag. Only 500 will be produced. The short video plays on the lightweight components, with the oblique message: ‘Lightness extracted from the heaviest elements.’ It use the name ‘Project 1201’ which is also how the bike is referred to on the invitations. One recipient, Jim Gianatsis of FastDates Calendars, has posted the invitation on his firms’s Facebook page.
