As soon as I did so I felt a thud from behind along with the sound of breaking plastic. I just grabbed on with all my might to avoid dropping my bike. I turned around only to find two guys on a 100cc scooter without even a single safety gear on, had just crashed into me. I had seen this @ss before as he keeps trying to taunt me to race him every time he sees me all because I once accidentally overtook him at night on my way home :|

So I parked my bike on the side and asked him what was wrong with him
His arguments were very annoying to say the least especially one of them being me not paying attention to my rear view mirrors when I'm stopping. The entire drama went on for some time and eventually I asked him what his deal was?. Why was it that every time he saw me, he always felt the need to race me, to which he responds, "You don't have riding skills but I do so I race... " :faceplam:

He also said I don't deserve to own such a bike... lol

So I figured it was not really worth my time arguing and left Valentino Rossi with his scooter...
Lol a race in his dreams. Many simply are jealous.

Did you leave him with less teeth than he started with?

Crashing into the back of you, breaking fairings, arguing & generally being a twat would have earned him a close look at the bike gloves

Some are but then again I usually meet a lot of really nice people who just come and talk and eventually ends up being friends. I've let him pass me several times just so that he'd stop bugging me.

Maybe i was sending him the wrong message :\ Should have told him I was not his type.

He broke his scooter's fender I was gonna yell at him for ruining my bike but when I took a closer look at my bike it was fine :P

The thought had indeed crossed my mind when he was arguing and he just came over and put his leg up on my bike. That really set me off, told him to get his f**n leg off my bike!

I have to admit that I did indeed lose my temper at one point but figured I was just wasting my time especially since I was running late for work.

The mohawk helmet sounds like a good idea ;P

Wait... he put his leg on your bike? At that moment, you should have kicked him between the legs.

I'd kick him, then take his bike and park it on top of his balls and leave it in gear and do a little burn out. LOL

Can you do a burnout on a scoot? I've not tried it & don't know if a CVT could do it & would the brakes on a scoot hold it steady

I had a guy in a beat up truck next to me keep asking about my bike. I told him its a 300 like 3 times, then he says "nice 250 you have there" I just started to ignore him at that point plus he kept talking about his 600 that he just wrecked.

So I posted in this thread back when I had the ninjette and some guy mistook it for a R6. Well, recently I was out riding with some friends and a new guy was with us. The group composition was a newer R6, 2005 636, older Katana and a 91 CBR. At the first stop, it went something like this....

Me: "yeah, that's his R6"

Him: "Which one?"

Me: "The only R6 here...the blue one"

Him: "Oh..." *COMPLETELY LOST*

So then we mount up, ride a bit more and stop for gas. I sit on the R6 a bit and then get off. He comes over to chat me up again.

Me: "Yeah, I like the feel of these R6s. A lot thinner than mine"

Him: "Don't you have an R6?"

Me: "Wha? No, that's a ZX6R. It's Kawasaki, this is made by Yamaha"

Him: "Oh, right!"

They look nothing a like! ><;

For me the variables are 250 & 600, so i'm gonna slap a "600" sticker on my 250

someone asked me if mine was a 900 today. haha somewhat related, a guy on a HD tried to pass me in a no passing zone in my lane right before a corner. I wish I could have seen the look on his face when I just rolled the throttle and leaned it over but he was so small in the mirror by the time I looked back. haha

I seem to get that alot too. "Is that a ###?" promptly followed by stories of crashing 600s or 1000s

I entered my bike in the Brute Horsepower Shootout at school (26.44 HP if you were curious lol) as a joke since it was raining the first day, and none of the fancy bikes were showing up. Aside from all the crap I caught from the Harley crowd for riding a 250, which makes no sense to me considering the power to weight is pathetic on a Harley, I was expecting to really catch it from one of my instructors. When I pulled up, he was going on about how good my bike looked, and it took him actually walking right up to my bike to believe it was a 250. We have some of them at school, but no new gens. He was genuinely impressed, and totally fell in love with my bike. He was even going on about how impressed he was with the HP of my little beast.

As a little side note, I stayed on the board in the 0-600cc class for a day and a half. Then, some guys came with their 600s and blew me out of the water. lol

Not exactly about the bike, but...

Was stopped at a red light, and had the Helme Cam still on from the ride. Street Patrol Cop comes by, sees me, walks up and says "Nice Camera. Now you can film yourself when speeding and put it on YouTube."

First I had a mind to be offended at his prejudice against sport bikes, but then I decided to take it as a compliment for the Ninjette, waved and rode off with the green light.

Usually these lines have come from the "Homies" trying to bum change at the local quickee mart. How fast will that thang go? Me : About 95mph. Homie: Come on man that thing will go way faster than that. Me: Ummm..No!! Homie: I bet all the b**ches be flockin to you over this bike..they love that green s**t. Me: Ummmm..No!! Homie: "Now that bike is the S**t!!" Me: Lmao!! And the only one that pissed me off is from a manager at work. He see me gearing up in the break room after my shift and asks what I ride.. Me: Ninja 250. Him: That's barely freeway legal right? Me: Actually 150cc's is min for freeway. He goes on to tell me about bikes he's owned probly like 30 years ago I'm guessing. I told him about how fuel effecient it was and it's second to none in twisties but he wasn't hearing it..he had the no replacement for displacement attitude!

I like to go on road trips with people like that, then when they stop for gas, leave my helmet on and give the confused puppy look while they watch the numbers on the pump spin and spin and spin..

As a girl, my absolute favorite is, "Oh hey, you ride that thing?"

Nope, I just walk around in a jacket, riding boots, gauntlet gloves, and carry this helmet for kicks. And the bike I'm standing next to as I put my helmet on? Nah, I don't ride it. I just like to push it around....

had some young kid ask me if I stunt it, and how long I can catwalk it.

I have no idea wtf a catwalk is, but hearing his lack of grammar in his speak I replied: "no english" and pulled off in second gear, while shaking the handle bars as i went, making look like i have no idea what i'm doing.
