DanMoto Exhausts

Does anyone know if they make a full exhaust or just a slipon?

Danmoto are only slip-on exhausts.

I doubt they have the money for the RnD to make full exhausts.

Yeah, that sounds about right. I ordered mine 03/26 & didn't get them until today 04/04. It all depends where you live, it shipped from NV to PA. So, it's understandable & free shipping. So can't complain.

I'm not too sure, I don't have the Growler to compare. Though, Danmoto is pretty loud! & for $135 shipped in a week is a steal.

Thanks! I subscribed back. & I'll keep everyone updated on the exhaust. For right now, it's too cold & windy to ride.

Keep an eye out for the discoloring. I don't know if DM fixed that issue.

On its website it says that no fuel changes need to be made.

Did anyone just slip it on and not change anything? Notice a difference in performance?

Did anyone put it on and did change the fueling? Differences?

Hopefully they did! I did the research on the did coloring you linked, but hoping it doesn't do anything to mine. I didn't add the baffle yet .. & I rode about 150 miles & no coloring. Also, I was riding pretty hard with it. Most of the ride was 8k+

Danmoto gp!

Finally ordered up my danmoto GP Carbon fiber exhaust system today. I'm excited to see and hear the improvement. Any one else have Input on the danmoto systems?

I had mine on for about 5k miles without changing anything and it was fine. No discoloration either.

I heard it for the first time while off the bike (when the new owner took it for a test spin) when I sold it last month and it does sound pretty good!

Ahhh ! Just ordered it right now. Hopefully will be getting my bike Monday !

I hope I get it by the end of the week next week

I'm a little hesitant on how loud it will be. But for $135 I'm willing to take the risk. I didnt get the baffle because I heard in videos it sounded more like a dirt bike and took away from the deep throaty tone. If I don't like it, I'll throw it up here.

Got my danmoto gp exhaust today. Ordered it 4/14.

What a bitchh it was to put on. First off, the springs that attach the supplied midpipe coupler to the danmoto exhaust are practically impossible to put on. Then the bracket thats given has like a 90 degree bend on both sides which need to be straightened out which is also practically impossible. Because I couldn't get the ends to be totally straight, I couldnt put on the silver washer on the outside with the bolt. Also, the rubber protective strip they give to align underneath the bracket is....yup you guessed it... practically impossible to align straight so I threw it aside and accepted the fact I was going to get scratches on it. Lastly, the worm clamp that goes over the midpipe and the oem bike exhaust wouldn't tighten it tight enough to keep the exhaust from moving and the screw ended up breaking. I tried the oem worm clamp and it also wouldn't clamp it down tight enough. So this week/weekend I'll have to go to the auto store and pick up a quality worm clamp.

I wasn't able to ride the bike with the exhaust on because it was raining and almost 10pm but I turned it on and moved it a few feet. Damn this thing is loud. My neighbors are going to kill me.

It's actually pretty easy to install. The bolt did break on me but that OK I just replaced the screw and kept the clamp. Two years with my GP exhaust I still love it. Definitely sounds better then the Growler Exhaust. Don't for get to throw in the baffle. Gives it a nice deeper sound.

I just purchased the baffle today.

Kind of upset that I will have to remove the whole exhaust to put the baffle in...

Should probably be here in the next...... 10 days
