Rant on Pocket bikes

To the kids zooming around after midnight on my street on your pocket bikes that sound like weed wackers with no helmet, no lights, and no reflective gear; one evening someone is going to be pulling or reversing out of their driveway and not see you. You will be nothing more than an expensive life insurance and liability claim.

End rant.

yeah. stupid kids. i have like 8 pocket bikes ranging from crappy 49cc cags to nice blata reps... but i always wear/wore protective gear. they're completely illegal to ride on the street also. probably for that exact reason. you should set them straight by calling the fuzz and yelling at them as the cops take away their bikes

LMAO ok you two were hilarious.

But onto the topic at hand. I would watch what house they go into and POLITELY go speak with their parents about it. take the stance of the kids safety as opposed to how fing annoying it is. It may not do any good. however if it continues then you have full on rights to phone the local PD about noise disturbances. See how long it keeps up after the parents have a few tickets to pay.

I think pocket bikes are fun. When used in a safe environment of course. There was an explosion of pocket bikes in SD a few years back and unfortunately there was also a spike in accidents which lead to their ban here.

Besides my 09 250, that would be the first "motorcycle" I've ever rode on, haha.

Go Resevoir Dogs on them and pop them in the kneecaps. They won't bother you again.

trolls get trolled. it's the nature of the forest... uhh forum?... wait what am i talking about again? as to the trolling your neighbor... wow, why didn't you just shoot him? or beat him up? i'm kinda surprised you used your words like a big boy.

pocket bikes are tons of fun. especially fast ones. you're inches from the ground and it feels like you're going 100mph at 30mph. you can bomb the crap out of turns going way to fast and dump the hell out of the little thing and go flying over the high side and if you're wearing gear, you've had nothing but fun and the bike is still fine. i've been riding pocket bikes since i was about 12 and can honestly say when ridden with proper gear in a proper location are completely safe. its these stupid kids riding in the street with no gear or even a helmet that give pocket bikes (like full size bikes) a bad name.

maybe take your bike over to them and talk to them about what happens when their heads smash against the concrete? if they don't learn talk to their parents and ask why they have enough money for pocket bikes but not enough money for helmets?

Pffft... if you're gonna go Reservoir Dogs, then you need to cut one of their ears off. Everyone knows that's the real way to deal with insolence.

For good measure, wear them on a necklace made of braided human hair.

This thread gave me a good laugh... I needed that.

On a serious note... hope you've remedied the problem in a civil way.
