The AMA has launched the 2014 AMA Vote Like A Motorcyclist campaign. While you may not be a motorcycle rider in addition to an ATV rider, many motorcyclists and ATV riders face similar issues such as land access. That's why the 2014 AMA Voter Guide may be helpful in educating you about candidates views regarding issues that are important to you. Note: You will have to log in to the member section to view the voter guide. As an AMA member, you have exclusive access to these resources.

The 2014 AMA Vote Like A Motorcyclist campaign provides many online tools to help riders stay informed in preparation for the November election. These resources include voter registration, tips for supporting a candidate's campaign, and the 2014 AMA Voter Guide.

The 2014 AMA Voter Guide provides candidate biographies, links to their campaign websites, photos and the federal incumbents’ stand on motorcycling issues. A key component is the candidate questionnaires and their “fuel-gauge” rating, indicating how supportive they are of motorcyclist-related issues.

The AMA sent a questionnaire to each federal and gubernatorial candidate who is a member of one of the major political parties. Once the candidate completed and returned the questionnaire, the AMA scored it and indicated the score on a fuel-gauge icon. A full tank indicates a candidate is 100 percent in agreement with the priorities of the AMA and its members.
