We DO have alternatives to the Dragon close by.
If you've done 301, 301 times are bored to tears with Bear Mtn and 9W take a closer look. You'll need to do some work but Google Earth the area about 5 miles south of bear Mtn along 9W...zoom in far enough so that the white roads show up. West of 9w, SE of Palisades Interstate as it turns towards 6 and east of 293 there are miles of 2 lane blacktop that switch back, climb, drop and do everyhting the ninjette does best. Look for Mott farm Road, Mine Dock Road as these are the ones easierst to find and then look for the small roads that branch off. West off 293 is mostly west point property so avoid those roads. We played there for an hour or so Saturday and NO enforcement, NO traffic and i only saw gravel once. |
