custom decal guy, where are you?
Hello, I am putting the Japanese symbol for Ninja on my bike. We were going to hand paint it on but are now thinking it would be A LOT easier to do a decal instead. I think I saw somewhere, on this forum, a guy that does custom decals? So if anyone knows how to get in touch with him or can send a link to him I'd appreciate it! Thanks!!

I'm close to that biz
Many of the franchise print and sign shops have plotter/cutters.
Basically...a CNC controlled razor blade on a sheet of vinyl. Just bring them the design you want , they scan it, cut it and you slap it on. This is how all the street racers ( cars) gussy up their rides here in NYC |

Thats what I don't understand..........why. The bike isn't a zx-2r. It's a 250R. If its because they look cool then so be it, but if its because people think their bike is a zx-2r then I don't understand why.

Not hard to do if you have some vinyl laying around.
I just downloaded the ninja symbol, printed it out, cut it out, traced the outline on to the vinyl, cut it out and stuck it on (did it twice on two different coloured sheets of vinyl to get the effect I wanted). |

Hey all, thanks for all of the great suggestions! My boyfriend is doing the paint tomorrow and I think we have decided to do it the harder way. He is going to do it by hand with 1shot. Brave... Should look pretty cool though! Pix to come when it is done! Thanks again everyone. Cheers.
