molybdenum disulfide oil solution???

So, it turns out my front sprocket is toast (literally no teeth left). I ordered a new one, but the service manual mentions applying molybdenum disulfide oil solution to the sprocket. I have some grease with Moly in it, but what is this?

Moly grease mixed with engine oil, 50/50 ratio. Don't need a lot.

Awesome! The manual states "Apply molybdenum disulfide oil solution. (mixture of engine oil and molybdenum disulfide grease
in a weight ratio 10 : 1)."

Does this mean 10 parts oil to 1 part grease?

I wouldn't be overly concerned about it. I poured a small amount of engine oil into some tinfoil I folded into a crude bowl, put a bit of grease in it, stirred it up with my (gloved) finger, and smeared it on the sprocket. Hasn't exploded yet.
