Somewhat complete online service manual.

Hey guys. I've been using this online service manual I found on google books: http://books.google.com/books?id=rVA...page&q&f=false

While it is a "preview" edition, the book has all the proper torque specs and pretty extensive step by steps for a lot of repairs you'd need to do. It's also searchable. Thought some of you might find it useful.

Edit: Header installation pictures are completely wrong. Ignore them.

I looked through it a bit and agree that its a nice find. I see that it says you have to check the oil on the centerstand. I dont have an owners manual to compare to, but everything I've read on this site says to check it wile the bike is level and NOT on the side or centerstand. Which is right?

Level on the ground is best. On the sidestand is clearly wrong. On centerstand is probably close, thought it will show a somewhat different level in the sightglass if the bike is tilted forward a bit. But the check will still be close enough to determine if the bike has a reasonable amount of oil in it. If someone has a somewhat larger tire on the pre-gens (130/90 instead of the stock 130/80), the rear tire is still almost touching the ground while the bike is on the centerstand, so the differences between the two would be even less noticeable.

Yeah, there's a couple of weird/ off things in that manual. I've seen the full one being talked about on here with no problems, so I'm not sure what's with these quirks in the manual.

I would recommend trying to get a full manual online or in real life, but if you can't or don't want to pirate one, this is something
