Smile For all the cat lovers and owners

What Breed of Cat Are You?

You Are a Ragdoll Cat

You are extremely cute and cuddly. You are downright adorable.
Your personality matches your exterior. You are very laid back and sweet.

You don't really like the outdoors. You prefer to stay inside where it's cozy.
Luckily, you are the perfect houseguest. You are polite and obedient.

The quiz labelled me as a ragdoll as well!

Our real rag doll, Newton, would be happy to hear it...

You Are a Bengal Cat

You look wild, but deep down, you're really quite sweet.
You are curious about the world around you, and you love to explore.

You liked to swim and climb trees as a kid... and probably still do!
You are confident and energetic. You are ready to take on the world.

Hey!! That's me!!

Newton and The Chairman were the reason I decided to share this one

And your pics of Newton are amazing!

I'll share a few less flattering (but funny!) ones...

Here's Newton after a lion's cut giving us the look of death for embarassing him in this way:

And here's the furry monster showing off his no litterbox skills; Annie toilet-trained him a few years ago so we don't need a litterbox in the house:

All of our Newton pics are up in these galleries.

I don't need to take this test.

I already know I'm a lion. Or a tiger. Depends on how I'm feeling that day...

Alright I took it.

I'm a Maine Coon Cat

You tend to be loving and playful around your family and friends.
But when you're around strangers you tend to be a bit reserved.

You are intuitive. You understand human emotions well.
You do best when you are around people. You don't like being left alone.

I love Maine Coons! We had one from the time I was in 7th grade until my sophomore year in college when he sadly died of a seizure - best cat ever!
Though, I think the Ragdolls would be a very close second in my list of choices!

You Are a Sphynx Cat

Some say you're part monkey, part dog, part child, and part cat.
You're unique and mysterious enough to seem a little otherworldly.

You're so hyper active that you almost literally climb the walls.
You are also devoted and loyal. But you demand a lot of attention in return.

What Breed of Cat Are You?

Poor Chairman's going to disagree with that

Fun Chairman Meow story of the moment: A lot of times he'll sleep part of the night in the garage atop my Firebird (He watches for mice believe it or not) and tonight the water heater started acting up. The pressure valve must be faulty (It's a brand new water heater) so it started doing this loud repetive squeeking! It freaked him out until I shut off the water supply to it and the gas. I imagine he thinks it's a giant mouse or something now...

So he's been eying it funny for the past couple of hours (No doubt trying to figure how to kill it).

Well, as long as we're doing "funny cat stories"... My cat Jet is a total spaz. Lately he's taken to falling asleep on top of the sofa, behind my head as I'm watching TV. The back of the sofa is about 8" from the wall because there's a heat reister in the floor behind it. Problem is, he tends to fall asleep up there. So about twice a night I'll hear a loud "klunk" and he'll come wandering out from behind the sofa with a squint and the funniest "Wha' happened?!" look on his face. He hasn't figured out the correlation between falling asleep and falling off the back of the sofa yet. Not all cats are graceful and intelligent.

family

Did the test on everybody in the house, I'm a Maine Coon and the wife and daughter are both Bengal Cat's.

Considering we have 3 cats, 2 females and 1 male. The HBIC is the only one with no front claws, keeps the others in check, and the male is the biggest pu**y in the house, won't stand up to the other cats, he is the youngest, just over a year old.

Later

One well-aimed webcam with motion-sensing software, and you're just a step away from a killer youtube video!

I discovered a great way to get around that when one of mine peed in the carrier on the way back from the vet, with his brother in there with him - I just threw them both in there in the carrier and got them all hosed down - then let them out to shampoo and rinse.... still drama from the one, but at least I wasn't shredded to ribbons, and he wasn't soaked in pee anymore

You Are a Siamese Cat
You are a very communicative creature. You're eager to express yourself - and do so often.
You are very dependent and love attention. You will complain if you are not getting enough affection.

Even though you are very loving, you can seem aloof, unpredictable, and stubborn in relationships.
A relationship with you takes a lot of patience.

I am Siamese, if you please.

That's awesome! I bet that cat was wayyy hostile as it HAD to be your fault for his predicament

Chairman got a sticker on his tail in his ventures and for a solid day wouldn't let anyone mess with it (I don't know how if he thought we'd make it worse or something?).

How'd you get that one off?

SHE is a raging pain in the ass. Her name is Dax, as in Jadzia Dax of STS9. The white one laughing at her is Data, of ST:TNG.

I know, I'm a dork.

She jumped in the air to get a fly and caught the trap mid crotch.

I tried several different methods to get it off of her but had to go with brute force.

She was pissed!

I've heard. Does she like water? I've read about Bengal owners leaving about an inch or two of water in the tub at all times so the cat can play in it.
