[American Motorcyclist Association] - Change to AMA Dirt Track Grand Championship sch
Inclement weather has forced a change to the competition schedule for the AMA Dirt Track Grand Championship this week in Springfield, Ill.
Tuesday’s amateur short track has been moved to tonight. All racers entered in the amateur short track originally planned for tomorrow must report tonight to compete. The gate opens at 2 p.m., and practice is at 3 p.m. Heats should start by 5 p.m. The amateur mile, originally scheduled for today has been postponed until Tuesday. Gates for the mile will open at 8 a.m. A youth short track will take place tomorrow following the mile. Wednesday will feature an amateur TT and two youth TT programs.
