Rear set options.

Sorry if this has been asked before. I'm usually a stickler for searching before asking, but for some reason I can't use the search function with my phone and I'm not by my computer, but.....
What are our options for rear sets without spending several hundred bucks on a precision CNC set? So far, Woodcraft is all I can find for these bikes and I'm not about to shell out $400. I only paid $500 for the bike. LOL....and these factory rear sets are a bit "Mickey Mouse" to say the least. What are we doing to update or upgrade without spending big money to do so?

Hi Justin, I originally had Woodcraft on my '08 race-bike. They were destroyed after 2nd crash and fixed foot-pegs snapped and bent mounting-tab on frame almost to swingarm. I repaired frame and got set of these rearsets along with folding pegs. Two more crashes on track with no more damage than rashed bodywork. Rearsets, pegs and frame survived just fine.

Not sure why they list them as only for new-gen. Pre-gen, new-gen and 300 can all use same rearsets. Just that there's extra mount on right side of pre-gen that's not re-used for these. Also Ninja 300 rearsets makes a nice upgrade. Tonnes of them sitting around in people's garages somewhere. I put some on my pre-gen and they do update looks very nicely.

I found these on ebay last year. They work pretty well and was a fraction of the Woodcraft set.

Nice job, have to remember that. The 300 and Gen 2 ones are way cheaper too. Mahalo
