Pledge. It works great on cleaning a motorcycle. Got this tip from Kerry Bryant at Area-P, believe it or not. It's sort of an industry inside "secret" of sorts.

lol... pledge. we used to use that on the dorm floors in tech scool to give it a quick "waxing" before inspection. worked well, but would make the floors slippery as hell.

I used pledge to try to get vinyl adhesive off my fairings. Worked pretty well! I should have found out before I went out and bought some Plexus
