Rebuilding top end, where to get parts?
I have always known my bike to burn oil, but lately it is getting worse. I went o a 200km road trip (I usually just putt around town) and it has gotten much worse. Not only is the exhaust very smelly, it now is visable with a blueish tinge. Also, after my road trip, when I parked the bike it would literally drip oil from the airbox.
So to me this means my rings are absolutely shot. So I will take apart the top end. This means a new cylinder gasket, head gasket, valve cover gasket, and of course rings. Just wondering where the most affordable place is to by these parts? I just want something that gets the job done. I know what my bike is worth, and its not a lot. Don't see a need to spend top dollar on oem gaskets. Thanks! Josh |

I have been using www.mrcycles.com, good prices, good service and always happy to help. The only issue at the moment is trying to locate the oversize pistons and rings.
