Area P - Group Buy - 2014 (April 19th through May 4th)

The Area P GB is offered for both 250 and 300 models and is available exclusively to ninjette.org members only. Member @csmith12 has volunteered to assist with administrating the GB thread.

It won’t be based on quantity or minimums. It won’t be based on one particular style system. Payments are not required until the GB ends and we actually begin assembling/shipping orders. Here are links to our:

250 Standard Mount Full Systems

250 High Mount Race Full Systems

300 Standard and Ultra High Mount Full Systems

We also have a new style Flat Conical Billet End Cap option available that features a new outlet hole transition and size especially designed for the 250/300 systems. Pictures -

In addition - If we reach combined orders of 10 (250/300 systems), at the conclusion of the GB and after all the orders are assembled/shipped –– those names will get “dropped into a hat”. Alex will then pull one name out and that person will get their exhaust system purchase price refunded!

The 250/300 GB will start today (April 19th, 2014) and ends May 4th, 2014. At the conclusion, order processing will commence.

For either the 250 or 300 - $75.00 off any full system. $100 off if you add a Jet Kit or FI Micro Programmer.

*Limit one order per member. No dealers. Shipping cost within the lower 48 states is $21.50. International order shipping costs to be quoted based on location.

unfortunately due to the fact that I have priorities with my money I won't be able to spare enough for the system by may 4th Though I may have enough free cash to do all the mods I want to do to my 300 next season

good luck with the sales, I know there are plenty of folks on this forum that will gladly jump on this opportunity. 15+% power gains are very tempting. And the shorter carbon version looks pretty good too.

I just bought the full race exhaust and jet kit and all the stuff Areap has for our bikes a few months ago. Can my name go in the hat to be refunded the 700 or so dollars I spend?

Satisfied with the purchase btw.

Legible language conversion:
1st paragraph - It makes you go power.

2nd paragraph - Do this thing called jetting (?? i dont even know) after installing the Area P or else you'll die (not good).

Dyno Chart (the hell is that?): It must makes you go power.

No, that is your standard liability clause. They told you what it is for, to cover their ass. What you do w/it is up to you and your responsibilty, so you can't lay blame if you get caught.

Cool they're doing a group buy, but I'll wait around for a vendor sale as it's only 12.5% discount before shipping.

Based on the system I would want.

For the most part you can expect an increase of 18% to your bike's power. At peak power (~12k RPM), you can expect a power increase of 28%

I'm definitely interested in buying this. However, I've never installed an exhaust before. What tutorials do I need to look up to fully install everything they talked about? I want to be sure I'm not in over my head with this haha.

The exhaust install takes longer then changing your oil but skill wise it is the same. Goes together like an erector set.

You will need to rejet and that takes a bit more skill but there are DIY vids on here for that.

I was asking only to clarify. My dealer refused to sell/install (I didn't ask, but he volunteered it), and mentioned a huge fine for the seller and installer ($5k/$5K). My concern isn't for myself, I just don't want to see companies like Area P get in trouble. If a disclaimer and washing their hands is enough to protect them, then so be it. I wanna see them around for awhile.

I know you were, hence my response to clarify for you. They've been around for awhile. Some "dealers" will install it, some won't, same reason I explained above. They will tell you that outright, it's a fine line. Ultimately, it's your move.

Kerry probably remembers me. The guy in hawaii -- we talked for close to an hour about jetting, gearing, carb tuning, forced induction -- general engine theory.

He said they don't sell many kits to Hawaii members, but one or two so far.

I've used these exhausts for the 250 & 300. Top notch stuff! I even got a pretty smokin' deal for the 300.

Thanks again to Kerry(Area P) & Jamie(FuelMoto)

As the winner of the AreaP group buy for the 300 last year I would just like to say that AreaP makes one sweet exhaust, and that Kerry is great to deal with.

Last year after a long wait and several delays the exhaust for the 300 finally released. Several buyers for the 300 group buy dropped out due to the wait and in the end only nine buyers were left.

AreaP could have put out a system before it was really ready and maybe gained a few extra customers early on, but they didn't. Probably because they didn't want to release a product that wasn't up to their standards. I believe that getting the EFI tuned just right was the cause of the delays. In the end it was worth it and I wouldn't trade my exhaust for any other.

The original stipulation for the 300 group buy last year stated that ten participants were needed to issue a free exhaust. In the end even though there were only nine sold a winner for a free exhaust was still chosen. I don't know of one other company out there that would do that. Especially for our bikes.

Satisfied with the purchase btw.

We appreciate your past order. Please note that your purchase was made/shipped on January 7, 2014. If it was a week ago, of course we wouId consider it. But I'm sorry, we cannot include your name in on this GB for a purchase from more than 3 months ago. And just to clarify so participants are clear and as noted, the "exhaust refund" offer at the end of the GB is based on meeting a 10 minimum, and again would be for the exhaust system only (in your case it would have been $595, not $700).
