NewGen Mirror
Does anyone have a newgen mirror they can give to me? Light damage is not an issue. My intent is to disassemble it and determine how to integrate a turn signal into it. I'll pay for shipping. Thanks.

Hey Countersteer,
I would but I've heard reports of the aftermarket integrated mirrors breaking upon contact with the slightest force, so I'm keeping the OEM mirrors as back-ups just in case. Good luck on the project, sounds promising. |

The replica EMGO mirrors might be easier:
http://www.emgo.com/catalogs/filter-mirror-2010.pdf Worth a shot. I have some replica EMGO and some extra Kawasaki OEM mirrors I can play around with. I'll see if it comes off easily, but I don't want to break them because I always planned to clean them up and sell them as sets (sand scratches away then sand other side to match; strip bubbled paint; repaint stalks). I wonder if the EMGO ones eventually rust under the paint on the stalk like my OEM Kawasaki ones do. |
