replacing front wheel bearing question

hey guys which side should I knock on the bearings out,
the side that this circlip was on?
right now I'm Tappin it and its not budging I heated it up a little it seems like the piece that the actual slide thru in between the bearings,
it seems as if it is Preseed to both sides,
I just don't want to go hammering on it part until I figure out,
if it matters which side you're not the bearings out on,
thanks Mike h

excellent thank you

that was a greasy dirty job I have almost 15,000 miles on it,
I took the time to take as much grime off of everywhere that I could not normally get into.
