I wanna learn to ride like these guys.

Link to original page on YouTube.

I wish I had a place like this to ride. Go to 7:30 to see some sparks.

That was fun. Notice how smooth they both were. Supermoto is all about controlled aggression. The other thing is 450s are fookin fast. That guy had a helmet cam and they looked like they were hauling. Yea Im cool with being on a 250 next season or the next after that.

I can see why they'd put their foot on the ground during turns, but why do they take their hands off the grips too?

Not much sliding going on there looks very close to what we did on the superbikes. After watching this it makes me think I may not be to bad a Supermoto if I gave it a try.

Newb question: Don't supermoto riders have different body positions and/or don't they have the bike different than say a race bike at the track? I haven't ridden supermoto myself and it's been years since I've been on a dirt bike, I just seem to remember that there was a major difference.

Either way, something to look forward to!

There are 2 main body positions for sumo riders. Knee out or leg out. There are major overall differences. I am finding leg out is a difficult transition when I throw a leg over the dirt bike.
