----------------- If only a few brave souls were tempted by slick tyres in the damp morning session, the track dried up nicely and the sun came out to watch by the time FP2 came along. The provisional top 14 ended up being decided in a last-minute shootout, when Jake Dixon found over half a second over the rest of the field. Sam Lowes tried to close the gap to his compatriot on his final flying lap but a tumble at turn 10 lost him the opportunity and allowed championship leader Celestino Vietti to sneak ahead.
