Motorcycle Cover

What is the best waterproof motorcycle cover that covers my 2009 ninja 250r and is small enough to fit in the seat storage. Also please let it be cheap. Thank you

I bought a dowcow guardian, size small I believe. Fits well.

I don't think you'll find anything small enough to fit in the seat compartment though.

I agree, have you seen your trunk space? probably just enough to fit your insurance cards and MAYBE some small tools.

Not true. A motorcycle cover will definitely fit into the trunk assuming 1.) By motorcycle cover you mean seat cover and by seat cover you mean it covers half your seat. or 2.) By trunk you mean the trunk of your car.

(I had at least two or three motorcycle covers stolen off my bike and I couldn't figure out who was stealing them. I mean what kind of d**k steals a cover off one guy's bike and then puts it on his own. Ok, maybe there are people like that but to happen multiple times? I either lived in an area with an overabundance of douche bags or something else was going on. I finally figured out that homeless people were stealing the cover because it was large, tarp like, and waterproof. It was a pain in the ass having to keep buying covers but honestly if you are going to steal the cover off my non-essential vehicle I keep just for recreation to make a shelter for yourself who am I to complain.)

This is what I am rocking:

I have tried the crappy Walmart ones that can handle only the first rain shower. This one is by far the better option, easy to put on and take off (That's what he said). I got the LG and it fits wonderfully on the 250.

this is what I have and I love it! It has two bungee cords to keep the wind from stealing it, about a month ago when we had 50 MPH winds it didn't even knock my bike over because it keeps it low enough where the wind couldn't even get under it.

I have had it since the season began so only about 4 months. But you can feel the quality. I researched my options and tour master kept coming up. It stays put in wind storms without using the center clip. I mostly just pull it over the bike, it stretches. The one I had from Walmart would blow around in the back of my truck when I left it there, this one stays put which gives you a bit of an idea of it's weight (Wasn't taken on the highway though).

With all the showers I have had it has yet to let a drop through. I even throw it over the bike after a long ride and don't have to worry about the muffler burning a hole in it, notes/manual says it able to with stand some heat.

I just throw it in the bed of my truck during the day and at the end take less than 2 mins putting it back over the bike.

Absolutely 100% untrue.

Proof:

The trick is that, as clearly shown here, there are hollow spaces in the sides of the tail fairing. You can cram an amazing amount of stuff in there.

Note in the photos that I've got a tire gauge, multitool, factory tool pouch and various other bits and pieces in the tail... in addition to the cover.

My GSXR is similar but the spaces are less accessible. I still manage to stuff a lightweight nylon backpack (for last-minute shopping) and a nylon windblock jacket liner in there.

I don't recall which cover this is. It's fairly light nylon, pretty generic.

^ I used to have a cover like that which could fit in the seat, but it wasn't waterproof past the first, like, two weeks.

Use a dowco guardian now. Hella pricy, but super heavy duty. Will probably outlast me.

Dude, you are brilliant. This opens up a whole new world of motorcycle trunk space for me.

As with the above poster:
