Aero Turn Signal ??

I have seen this turn signals in photo that fit actual fit a stock Ninja 250 fairing in the stock location matching the original turn signal layout but in aero style flush mount turn signals like in below photo any though on where to get them link?, as I can't seem to find any on eBay other than ugly Universal ones.
Nor can I find any turn signal mounting bracket with just one hole as all I can fine stock replacement which are made for the stock turn signal.

That's from keithinasia, no longer available. However, there's some similar unpainted ones.

Hmm… maybe I can get my bro to remix this into a one-hole adapter:
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3322263

It’s the base for an EX250F turn signal stalk. He’s out of the country for the next couple months though.

I see they also have the stalk:

Probably want to print that in flexible TPU. I’ve never done that but I’m converting one of my Bowden-style FDM machines to direct drive and I should be able to do flexibles.

Printing aero-style replacements would be a lot easier if we were adapting an existing lens from some generic signal. Only 3D printers that can do good transparent lenses would be photo-resin printers. Those are expensive, messy, smelly, and you still won’t have that DOT stamp or bulb sockets.

People have also filled recess with wood, bondo, license-plates so surface is flush. Then can mount any turn signal you want.

I have fiberglass bondo I may end up used it and well my belt sander to thin them down a bit so the nuts can be attached

Those flush-style signals were popular a while ago (maybe 30 years?) and I believe they were based on Japanese home-market (or non-US) signals.

I had an '87 Ninja 750, and the GPX version had those on it.

They always looked good to me, better than any other type.

Yeah. The ZZR-250 looks sorta like that but the fairing itself is designed around them. Maybe there is another Kawi model where we can just order them.

The reason they are on stalks is to meet the regulatory minimum distance between them for certain countries without making the fairing wider. That’s clearly why the EX250F had the rear-facing ones as stalks on the rear fender even though the tail was clearly designed to integrate them (adapted to regulations and abandoned putting them in the tail).

Surprised I’m not finding any used/salvaged keithinasia-style signals on eBay. I’d love to get into silicon/resin molding and duplicating the lenses sounds like a good place to start.

I’m using really broad searches too.. like “Ninja 250 turn” with Condition = Used.

Hmm… according to an old KF thread, Keith was in Bangkok, Thailand which is where my brother is right now. I wonder if he can still source them and bring some back.
