RPMS not working need help

So i replaced my gauge with the koso unit because my oem one wasn't showing RPMS, to find the KOSO one isn't reading them either...

I've also replaced the CDI unit to the sportisi one, so I'm pretty stumped. I'm hoping its a bad fuse or oem wire somewhere and not the new stuff I bought. Any ideas where I should start?

you mean at the battery? I just replaced the battery too :/

I'm looking at the connectors and I can't really figure out which is for the tach/rpm gauge... BR / BK is what the user manual says. Brown and black?!

I think I get it, its the black wire because it runs to the IC igniter which is where we get our rpm reading right?

black wire is tach, trace the black wire from IC igniter to coil #1, then to tach.

Sweet mother of GOD. Finally found the problem, it was simply the green wire on the coil was disconnected, hence no rpm reading. GOD I LOVE ELECTRONICS
