Ninja skills

The dude was able to dodge the bike and the rider!

Looks like the rider hit the brakes mid corner. But I couldn't tell if he hit the brakes because he was dragging parts.....or whether he started to drag parts because he hit the brakes (and decreased his ground clearance by unsettling the suspension).

Could be target fixation, rider's body position looked fine, head turned, but seemed to be looking at the moving rider, not looking through the curve.
Speed seemed excessive also.
I think he hit the brakes in effort to avoid the moving rider, but while committed to the curve hitting the brakes was the cause to go down. Scraping parts sounds and rear tire washed out before the front, low-sided.

I'm familiar with that curve in Guanyinshan, Bali, Taiwan. Nice area to ride/visit.
Downhill slope left curve is well known for motorcyclists wipe-outs; similar to the Mulholland highway in Santa Monica.

Just ouch, only good piece of protection was the helmet. The back has to be hurting , extremely, bouncing off that wall.

He did better than the driver of the yellow car at 4:09... that driver didn't even make it to the start of the turn.
